What is CSC?

Under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) formulated by the Department of Electronics and knowledge Technology (DEITY), Ministry of Communication and knowledge Technology, Government of India, the Common Services Centers (CSCs) log in are conceptualized as ICT enabled, front service delivery points for delivery of state , Social and personal Sector services within the areas of agriculture, health, education, entertainment, FMCG products, banking and financial services, utility payments, etc.

Who may be a VLE?

VLE is Village Level Entrepreneur who delivers various government and non-government services to the top consumers from the CSC log in outlet(mostly owned).

What are the minimum requirements to become a VLE?

• Should have a legitimate Aadhaar number.
• The VLE should be a village youth above 18 years aged .
• The VLE must have passed the 10th level examination from a recognized board as minimum level of educational qualification.
• So the VLE should be fluent in reading and writing the local dialect and will even have basic level knowledge of English .

What are the advantages of Registration?

Registration helps the users to be on-boarded on the Digital Seva Portal post a top quality check. Post the verification, the VLE would be entitled for a politician Digital Seva e-mail ID.

What all are the System requirements for registering on CSC log in?

• A minimum of 120 GB hard disk Drive.

Do I want any training to become VLE?

No. You don’t need any specific training to become a VLE. Meeting the minimum criteria as mentioned above is enough to become a VLE.

What is an application number?

The application number may be a unique number that generated after successful registration. You’ll track your application status by this unique number.

When would I be ready to avail CSC services after acceptance of my application?

Once the account has created, you’d receive a welcome email regarding the digital seva link along side the credentials used.

How to register on CSC?

To register on CSC, simply follow the subsequent steps:

• Enter you aadhaar number, select the authentication type and further add the Captcha Text. Click on “Submit” button”

What is CSC 2.0 ?

CSC 2.0 is an extension of the first CSC Scheme. The CSC 2.0 is approved in August 2015. The Project aims to determine independent network of two .5 lakh CSC centres at Gram Panchayat (GP) level under Digital India – Pillar 3-Public Internet Access Programme – National Rural Internet Mission and deliver various citizen centric services. To register for CSC ID, the Applicant should follow the subsequent steps :

• Click on “Apply” button displaying on the homepage.
• Enter you Aadhaar number, name, select the authentication type and further add the Captcha Text. Click on “Submit” button”.

When would I be ready to provide CSC services after acceptance of my application?

• Once the appliance accepted and quality check completed , an internet link going to sent to your registered email ID with “DigiMail” login credentials. In Digimail, VLE will get the CSC ID and Password alongwith e-Wallet PIN.
• The VLE required to top up the e-wallet with a minimum amount of Rs 1,000/-. So the credentials of e-Wallet are provided alongwith the credentials of Digimail.
• Once the E-Wallet activated with minimum top up amount, the VLE can start making transactions on Digital Seva Portal.
• There certain services that the VLE required to register separately like DigiPay (banking services through Aadhaar Enabled Payment System), IRCTC ticketing.
• There certain services that the VLE required to clear the Test like Insurance Product Sales. To sell insurance products, so VLE has got to clear RAP (Rural Authorised Person) Test and obtain the licence from IRDA. However, any VLE can collect renewal premium .
• A VLE cannot make banking transactions as BCA unless bank allots KO code in favour of the CSC.
• Each registered entrepreneur has got to pass the Tele-Entrepreneurs Course available on CSC Academy Portal.

What is the procedure for closing or surrendering of a CSC ID ?

• The VLE may send a mail to the top of Operations, so CSC 2.0 informing that he/she is surrendering his/her CSC ID and requesting him to shut his/her ID.
• The VLE should give specific reason for surrender.
• So the request are going to sent to the State Head for State Team’s comments.
• On receipt of necessary comments from the State Team, appropriate decision taken.

What is the procedure of getting Wallet balance refunded after closing CSC ID ?

After the CSC ID closed, so e-Wallet balance available at the time of closing of CSC ID would transferred to the checking account which registered with CSC SPV at the time of registration for CSC ID.

Which is that the implementing agency for CSC 2.0 ?

CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd (CSC SPV) is that the overall implementing Agency of CSC 2.0 as appointed by the Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) currently refer to as the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology(MeitY).
