National Scholarship Portal 2022 23 Last Date: There are various types of scholarships provided through the National Scholarship Digital Scholarship Platform by various government agencies like State Government, Central Government and UGC (University Grants Commission). And this scheme has been started by the central government across the country for those students who are financially weak in completing their education.
Also, it is an important digital platform where the state government and UGC, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and other government agencies provide scholarships to the economically weaker students of the country. University grants provide applications for more than 50 scholarships worth hundreds of crores from state and central governments.

NSP Scholarship 2022-23 Application Process

• Search Institute/School/ITI in National Scholarship Portal
• Firstly, go to the home page of the portal. Direct Link – Official Website
• Click on the button Search for Institute.
• Then fill in the required details and get the institute list.
• Candidates can request their institutes to register on the portal by clicking on this option – Add institute link (if the institute is not registered)

Registration Process in National Scholarship Portal

• Firstly, go to the home page of the portal. Direct Link – Official Website
• Click on the New Registration button.
• Then a page of Guidelines for Registration on NSP will open.
• Read the guidelines carefully.
• Click ‘Continue’ to proceed.
• Fill in all the required details
• Click on ‘Register’.
• Then the applicant will receive a student application ID and password on the registered mobile number.

NSP Login Process

• Firstly, go to the NSP login on the home page of the portal. Direct Link – Official Website

• Then log in through your “Student Registration ID”
• Enter the Application ID and Password received on your registered number.
• Click on the Login button.

• Now enter your Application ID and Password

• After successful NSP login, the applicant will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number.
• Verify OTP.
• Applicants will be directed to the change the password page.
• Change the password and continue.

I Forgot Password in National Scholarship

• Firstly, go to the home page of the portal. Direct Link – Official Website

• Click on Login Button

• Now click on Forgot Password button.
• Enter Application Id and Captcha Code.
• Click on Next.

UGC Schemes – NSP Scholarship 2022-23

The University Grants Commission (UGC) is the apex body for the higher education system of the Government of India functioning under the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development). The University Grants Commission is also hosting some of its scholarships on National Scholarships. Also, it is the authority that accredits universities across India and also provides them with funds. The application process for NSP UGC Scholarship has started and the last date to apply for the scholarship is 31st December 2022 (Extended).

AICTE Schemes – NSP Scholarship 2022-23

AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) is the national level council for technical education functions under the Department of Higher Education, MHRD. Also, AICTE offers several scholarships for students to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder their professional careers.

The state government also provides scholarships for students who are natives of the respective state. Is there an NSP for college students?

Applying for a scholarship under the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) (Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India) It is necessary to apply under State Scholarship Portal (SSP) – Karnataka as an NSP ID is required to apply under SSP it occurs. So only those students who are not included in NSP will come under the purview of SSP.

Why are scholarships rejected?

One of the major reasons for scholarship rejection is when the students don’t meet the language requirements criteria. Students who do not speak English as a first language are normally required to submit the results of a language competence test. Students must attend TOEFL, IELTS, and so on to meet these requirements.

Can we give bank accounts to parents for the NSP scholarship?

The registration form is required to be filled by the parent/guardian of the students who are below 18 years of age as of the date of registration. Important Note: For Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme, where students do not have their own bank account, parents can provide their own account details.
