NSP Scholarship Last Date 2022-23: NSP is a one-stop solution through which various services are facilitated starting from student application, application receipt, verification, processing and disbursement of various scholarships to the students. And the National Scholarship Portal has been taken up as a Mission Mode Project (MMP) under Digital India. The objective of this initiative is to provide a simplified, mission-oriented, accountable, responsive and transparent ‘SMART’ system for faster and effective disbursement of scholarships directly into the account of eligible applicants without any leakages through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

NSP Post Matric Scholarship
- Eligibility- The scholarship will be awarded to those students who have obtained not less than 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination and whose parents/guardians’ annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 Lakhs.
- Scope- The scholarship is to be awarded for study in any government or private higher secondary school/college/university in India. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) affiliated Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centers of class XI and XII including polytechnic and other courses.
- The scholarship will be awarded to students studying in class XI and XII, including technical and professional courses of this level, including polytechnics, ITIs, and other courses.
NSP Pre-Matric Scholarship
- Eligibility- The scholarship will be awarded to those students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and the annual income of their parent/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lac.
- Scope- The scholarship will be awarded for studying in class I to class X in a government or private school in India.
- The scholarship will be available to minority community students studying in classes 1st to 10th

Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS
- Eligibility- The scholarship will be awarded to those students who have obtained not less than 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination and whose parents/guardians’ annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.50 lakhs.
- Scope- The scholarship is to be awarded for study in India in a government or private institution selected and notified in a transparent manner by the concerned State Government/Union Territory Administration. It will include technical and vocational courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The list of courses is in Appendix E.
- Those students who take admitted to the college to get admission in technical/professional courses on the basis of a competitive examination will be eligible for the scholarship.

यदि छात्रवृत्ति की राशि रुपये से अधिक है तो मेरिट कम मीन्स आधारित छात्रवृत्ति के तहत नए आवेदनों के लिए निम्नलिखित दस्तावेजों को अपलोड करना आवश्यक है। 50,000/- प्रति वर्ष। प्री-मैट्रिक और पोस्ट-मैट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति योजना के तहत आवेदन करने के लिए दस्तावेज़ अपलोड करना आवश्यक नहीं है।

Can OBC get NSP scholarship?
Only those candidates who belong to OBC/EBC/DNT as specified in respect of the State/UT to which the applicant actually belongs, i.e. permanently settled and have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University or Board Passed Higher Secondary or any higher examination. Secondary education will be eligible.
