Guidelines for Registration on National Scholarship Portal
How to Apply?
Students applying for the scholarship for the first time (Fresh Students) need to “REGISTER” on the Portal as a fresh applicant by providing accurate and certified information as printed on their documents in the “Student Registration Form”. The registration form is required to be filled by the parents/guardians of the students who are below 18 years of age on the date of registration.
Before starting the registration process, students/parents/guardians are advised to keep the following documents handy:
- Student’s Educational Documents
- Bank account number of the student and the IFSC code of the bank branch
- Note: For Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme, where students do not have their own bank account, parents can provide their account details. However, the parent account number can only be used for scholarship applications for a maximum of two children.
- Student’s Aadhaar Number
- If Aadhaar is not available, a bonafide student certificate from the institute/school and
- Scanned copy of the Aadhaar Enrollment ID or Bank Passbook
- Bonafide student certificate from the institute/school, if the institute/school is different from the domicile state of the applicant.
